BEFORE PORTRAIT DAY

Your school representative contacts me directly. We set a date and discuss options for a simple background or an outdoor setting. From there, I take the ball and run with it. Student families will receive email reminders from me a month prior, a week out, and the day before. Families can also contact me directly with questions. My service does not cost the school anything. No payment is due in advance, and families are not obligated to purchase images…but hopefully you love them enough that you can’t resist!

ON PORTRAIT DAY

I’ll arrive early to set up. Photo sessions begin one class at a time, on a schedule organized to accommodate the school day. Although each child is typically in front of the camera for only a few minutes, my goal is to capture an authentic image of their individual personalities. These are not your average “say cheese” school yearbook photos. Many children are used to smiling for the camera (you couldn’t stop them if you tried), but not all of them will choose to do so. That’s ok! I’m not there to pressure them into faking an emotion. If they are feeling shy, grumpy, silly, wiggly, or even skeptical…all I expect is for them to be who they are. It’s a joy to see their genuine expressions.

AFTER PORTRAIT DAY

Everything happens online. Within 3 weeks, families will receive an email directly from me with a link to a private password protected gallery containing 3-5 images of their child. When viewing the gallery, there will be instructions for purchasing prints and/or high resolution digital files.
